I wanted to install a warning system in my remote pole barn in case there is an overheating situation on my EV charging system when charging my car. There’s power in there (obviously!) but no heating. So, a home smoke alarm won’t work in the freezing conditions of winter – they are only good down to 45F or so. I do have a 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi bridge from the house to provide internet. I’ve tried other systems but either they were impossible to set up, didn’t have an alarm, and/or required a subscription to get phone notifications. This MOCREO alarm system has none of those issues. . The set up is very straight forward and hassle-free. Everything connected immediately and seamlessly. A rare occurrence in my experience, and I’m an engineer, comfortable with technology. As soon as the sensor was connected, I knew the temperature at the sensor! 😊 . My kit included two sensors and a non-display hub. My phone provides all my visual needs. So far, I only need one sensor, at the EV-rated 240V NEMA 14-50 plug, which is the most likely source of a temperature problem. The sensor unit is magnetic and so simply snaps to my steel walls. The sensor itself comes with an adhesive-backed clip to hold it where it is needed. I have yet to confirm the normal operating temperature at the plug while charging for a few hours, so that I can properly set the alarm temperature limit. It will get warm but not hot. The compact hub fits in one of my spare outlets not too far away and only occupies one outlet, not two, as some larger hubs can. . Not only can I get an alarm notification when the outlet and plug might overheat, I can get a graph with historical temperature data over time. Not just the outlet's temp., but the garage temp. in that area also. Awesome! For me, as an engineer, the more data the better! I also can easily see the sensor unit battery charge also. . I paid $50 for the system. Money well spent from my perspective! . Since I’ve only used it for a few minutes so far, I will update this review if I have any issues. So far, I love it! Review: Simple, easy temperature measurement - Easiest tech gadget setup ever! Super fast too! It just works immediately. I have nothing bad to say about it. 2 thumbs up. I just got it and installed one temperature sensor in my garage freezer and the other in my garage fridge. I had fun watching the temperature drop. The cables are super thin, so I expect there will be no issue with frost build-up. There's a lot of extra cable, so it'd make sense to keep that twisty tie around for câble management. We'll see how long it takes my kids to rip the wires in half, not tell me, and then I see the temperature goes haywire. ## Features - Update Remote Mute: Enjoy the convenience of dismissing the hub's beep directly from the Smart App, eliminating the need to manually press a button - 24/7 Remote Monitoring: The wifi freezer thermometer constantly monitors your freezer and immediately alerts you if temperatures rise or drop unexpectedly, including during events such as an improperly closed door or power failure. This allows you to take prompt action to protect your stored items, with continuous monitoring available from anywhere. (Supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only) - 3 Optional Instant Alerts: App push notifications, email alerts, and loud 90dB audible alerts from the Hub. These multiple notification methods help you respond quickly when issues arise. The system also includes hub offline alerts for power outage incidents, low battery warnings, anti-false alarm, and other smart alert settings designed to make monitoring smarter. iOS Critical Alerts bypass Do Not Disturb modes to deliver alarms - Industrial Grade Accuracy: Powered by a high-sensitivity sensor, this refrigerator thermometer delivers precise monitoring from -40°F to 158°F with an accuracy of ±0.9°F. The 0.9mm ultra-thin flat cable easily passes through refrigerator door seals, helping prevent cold air leakage and reduce frost buildup for more stable internal temperatures. It’s ideal for kitchen freezers, garage refrigerators, fish tanks, hot tubs, RVs, greenhouses, nurseries, as well as commercial and laboratory settings - Scalable Coverage with Flexible Expansion: The H6Lite Hub connects up to 30 MOCREO BLE sensors within a 230 ft range, including MS1, MS2, ST5, ST6, ST8, ST9, ST10, and SW2. Easily monitor multiple areas at once, and expand your coverage anytime by deploying additional hubs for larger spaces - 2 Years Data Export with No Subscription: This wifi fridge thermometer alarm supports online viewing of clear graphs and exports data to CSV format for in-depth analysis and record-keeping - 2 Years Battery Life: Powered by 3 replaceable AAA batteries, the freezer thermometer can last up to 2 years. It sends a low battery alert when the battery level falls below 10%. This reduces replacing frequency and saves you time - Easy Placement: Each wireless fridge temperature sensor features an upgraded strong magnetic backing for secure attachment to metal surfaces. An included metal mounting plate allows convenient installation on non-metal surfaces. Every probe cable also comes with its own clip and organizer, so you can place it neatly without a mess of wires. It's designed to give you a cleaner space ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09QM4P4VP | | Additional Features | Alarm, App Companion, Fast Refresh, High Accuracy, Wi-Fi Support | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Battery Life | 2 years | | Best Sellers Rank | #4,157 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #13 in Refrigerator Thermometers | | Brand | MOCREO | | Brand Name | MOCREO | | Color | White | | Connectivity Technology | Wireless | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 1,539 Reviews | | Display Type | Temperature Sensor | | Included Components | WiFi Hub, 2 Wireless Thermometers, 2 Probe/Cable Clips | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Length | 2.4 inches | | Manufacturer | MOCREO | | Model | H6Lite-MS2D | | Model Name | H6Lite-MS2D | | Number of Batteries | 1 Lithium Polymer batteries required. Currently, all the functions of the MOCREO system (including the app and Web Portal) are completely free, and you do not need to pay any monitoring fees or subscription fees. Shall you have any questions, feel free to contact us. **Q: It looks the cable from sensor to probe has to go through the freezer door? Doesn't that break the seal on the freezer and interfere with cooling?** A: Hello friend The thickness of the probe cable used in our freezer alarm is about 1.2mm. If the refrigerator sealing strip is intact, it will not affect the sealing of the refrigerator. This is a special design to ensure that the freezer is sealed So please don't worry. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact MOCREO customer service. Hope this reply can help you Sincerely **Q: When logging data, what is the sampling interval, or range if programmable? How much can be saved in cloud storage?** A: The logic of ST4 temperature data logging is that when the wifi temperature sensor detects a temperature greater than 0.9°F, it will report the data once. If the temperature stays the same for more than 10 minutes, the data will also be reported once. Sampling will be based on the data logging principle, so it will generally be around 2s The data exported through the MOCREO App is an editable CSV file. Cloud storage will retain the data for 6 months. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact MOCREO Customer Service **Q: can the sensor be mounted out of doors, and the hub be nearby indoors, perhaps near a window?** A: Hello friend. This mainly depends on the distance between the Hub and Sensor and the degree of obstacles If the distance is suitable and there are not many obstacles, it is possible to achieve If it is close to the window, I think it is possible to monitor In general, we recommend a distance of 10M-15M [39.8ft-49.2ft] from the Sensor to the Hub when there are obstacles in the room (different obstacles have different effects on the signal strength). You can use this as a reference to make a simple judgment, the specific situation still needs to be based on the actual situation I hope this reply can help you If you have any questions, please feel free to contact MOCREO customer service Sincerely ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what I needed! *by A***E on June 24, 2026* I just installed this temperature alarm system and it is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for! . This device is a very high quality solution that allows us to set a desired temperature range and to have access to constant monitoring of that temp even when away from home. It is easy to set up, the app is also easy to use and the device is highly accurate. I am able to set a 36 to 46 degree range and am notified when the refrigerator temperature drops below or exceeds the range. An alarm goes off on my phone and on the receiver. We are also notified when the temperature returns to the acceptable range. We can even choose the amount of time that is acceptable to be out of range so that the alarm won’t sound during a temporary drop when the fridge door is opened. The app stores data so that you can review the extent of any out-of-range time. So, for example, if there was a power outage while we’re away from home but the fridge returned to normal within the medication’s limit, I know that my meds are still effective and safe to use. If something goes wrong while we’re at home, I can move the medication to a different fridge or pack it in an iced cooler if necessary. The kit comes with two probes so we plan to use the second one in an older basement refrigerator. Great product. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to monitor refrigerated foods, film, medications, etc. especially if the unit is in the basement, garage or other location not consistently observed. ## Frequently Bought Together - MOCREO WiFi Thermometer Freezer Alarm, Email Alert, App Notification, Data Record Export, No Subscription Fee, 2 Remote Wireless Temperature Sensors for Refrigerator, Freezer, Hot Tub - MOCREO Temperature Sensor with Waterproof External Probe, for Freezer with App Alert, Smart Thermometer, MOCREO Hub Required, Remote Temperature Monitor Gauge, for Refrigerator, Fish Tank - MOCREO ST10 Ultra Low Wireless Freezer Thermometer, -328°F to 392°F Temperature Alarm, Email & App Alert, Data Logging, No Subscription, for Lab Medical Vaccine Refrigerator (Hub Required) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co/products/413273951-wifi-thermometer-freezer-alarm-email-alert-app-notification-data-record](https://www.desertcart.co/products/413273951-wifi-thermometer-freezer-alarm-email-alert-app-notification-data-record) --- *Product available on Desertcart Colombia* *Store origin: CO* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
