Just the job. - This has been in constant use since it was delivered to me on the 1st of March, It is now the 30th of May and the soap has run out, but the battery hasn't. I've decided to charge it whilst it's empty even though it doesn't need it. So I can't actually say how long the battery will last but I can say it'll last over three months. When it first arrived I played around with the amount of soap It dispenses, there are five options but we settled the smallest amount so that the person using it can decide how much they want. We went this way because my granddaughter insisted on having some soap on each hand and if it was a 2 or 3 level of dispense, it would be too much. Having it set at the lowest amount means that you can dispense however much soap you like based on individual preference. Bearing that in mind I think it's actually done really well, as each time it has been used it's having to do double the amount of work that it would have to if it was set to dispense on a higher amount. I think that makes the battery life even more impressive because it's been used more often than it might otherwise have been had it been set to dispense at a higher level. As I've only been using it for 3 months.I can't comment on the durability of the item but fingers crossed. It will keep me going for several years at least. If you've read to the end of my waffle , you're no doubt aware that I thoroughly recommend this dispenser. My only issue, if I have one at all, is the charge connection would be better as a USB C, In case the proprietary charge cable is mislaid. Household info: Two people with occasional visits from others. This has been located in the main WC and used several times a day by both of us. Review: Highly reccommend - I bought this to use it in my bathroom and so far I am extremely pleased with the product. As you can see from the video, mine is just sitting on the sink so I didn't have to use the wall mount hook. You can select how much soap you want it to dispense and the time response is good. I never had to wave my hand under the dispenser in the desperate attempt to trigger it, which is the main aspect you would probably consider when buying an automatic dispenser. However, the aspect I am pleased the most is how long the battery lasts. I bought this a year and a half ago and so far I have only charged it twice. Exactly, 2 times in around 18 months. Surely, in my case on an average day the dispenser is triggered around 15-20 time per day so this may vary for you. Nonetheless, it's still a great result. Just make sure you don't refill with a thicker liquid, or it may actually clog it. Otherwise, the product is highly reccommended! ## Features - 500ml Large Capacity - AIKE automatic soap dispenser is able to hold 500ml (17oz) of liquid soap, ensuring a longer-lasting supply without frequent refills. - Convenient - Featuring an infrared motion sensor, this touchless soap dispenser responds swiftly within 0.2 seconds, providing a hassle-free and quick way to access liquid soap without the need for pressing the pump head. - Rechargeable Battery - This rechargeable soap dispenser built-in 2000mAh lithium battery, more energy-saving and environment-friendly, cable included. - Multi-Level Adjustable - With 5 dispensing volume options, you have the flexibility to adjust the amount of soap dispensed according to your preference or specific needs. - Transparent Bottle - The transparent bottle design allows for easy monitoring of the soap level, enabling timely refills to ensure a continuous supply. - Wall or Tabletop - It can be either placed on a countertop or mounted on a wall, providing flexibility in saving sink space (self-adhesive hooks are included). - One-Year Warranty - AIKE offers a one-year free replacement warranty. I after one to go in the shower cubicle** A: To be honest, I do not know as 1 keep mine in the kitchen. Having said that, the recharging port does have a rubber cover which is quite tight, so I suppose it depends on how wet you would get it. **Q: Can this be used to dispense hand lotion?** A: I don't see why not. I use carex hand soap in mine without a problem, and that stuff is quite thick! The only real issue I have is when the weather is cold, I have to thin the soap down by about 5%, but I do have the dispenser on a window sill in my kitchen. So I suppose it depends on how thick your hand lotion is, and where your dispenser is positioned, but I would think it will be okay. **Q: I have recharged and the white light has come on but when i take out charger it wont switch on ?** A: When tbe white light comes on thats it switched on, put your hand underneath and take away and repeat a few times to give the soap time to go through the dispenser and it should come out after a few times on first using **Q: Does this item create foam soap when you mix soap and water?** A: Hello, it only works with liquid soap, will not foaming. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great. Long-Lasting Charge and Easy Operation *by P***A on 13 November 2024* The soap dispenser is rechargeable, so it doesn't require batteries. It takes about 2 to 3 hours to fully charge, indicated by an orange light on top that turns white when charging is complete. However, there’s no low-battery warning once it begins to lose charge, though this isn’t much of an issue since a single charge lasts a long time. I've been using mine frequently in the kitchen, several times daily and it lasted about three months under heavy use. To turn the dispenser on, press and hold the power button (which also serves as the indicator light) for a few seconds until you hear a beep, signaling that it's active. You can adjust the amount of soap dispensed by following the instructions in the manual. One minor downside is that the sensor only detects white or light surfaces, not black ones, likely due to how the sensor under the spout works. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. ## Frequently Bought Together - AIKE 17oz.
