Review: THIS STUFF WORKS! - I'm 69. Deal with arthritis pain especially in my knees and feet. I don't like to take too many pain killers and am not on prescribed medication by choice. So, I take turmeric and just started with this stuff. I did my research prior and this brand kept coming up in a good way. I just finished my first 8 oz container, blending two scoops into my morning coffee. I am honestly amazed, really, at how well this works! Now, with Spring finally approaching, I will be walking more, riding my bike and doing other physical activities more in conjunction with this product and the turmeric. I feel like I CAN do those things with much less pain and a bit more flexibility. There's a slight vanilla taste to it in my coffee, but along with my creamer, it actually tastes pretty good. I've not tried it with anything else. Seriously, I have not been a happy camper because my spirit has been willing, but my joints didn't agree. I'm much closer to living the way I want and need to.

**Q: Where is the fish sourced?**
A: I have never used this product.

**Q: Did you like the carmel flavor for the joint formula?**
A: I enjoyed the flavor, I add it to coffee and also use in baking sometimes.  The caramel flavor isn't very strong but it does taste like caramel.

**Q: How do it smell like?**
A: It has no smell- doesn’t smell like fish at all

**Q: So do I have to buy pne of each type to get all of the 5 types of collagen?**
A: There are products available that have all of the collagen types.  I personally didn't do as well with it because I take the collagen for joint relief, plus skin and hair maintenance.  The Great Lakes version, with more of the two types of collagen seemed to work much better than the one with a smaller amount of those but more of the other collagen types.  I'm not sure what that means scientifically, probably nothing, but perhaps we don't need every type of collagen - or maybe it depends upon what needs you are addressing by taking it to begin with.

I have tried collagen in the past for joint pain relief, without effect. I wanted to try it again. I selected this product because it also contains meaningful amounts of MSM and hyalauronic acid. I have tried this for a couple of weeks and have not noticed an improvement dramatic enough to attribute to the supplement. In its favor, MSM and hyalauronic acid are 2 supplements that may very well be effective against joint pain. Other supplements I have reviewed either do not contain them, or contain a bunch of other stuff with little evidence of efficacy. So even if the collagen doesn't work, the other stuff might. The big problem for me was the taste. It is called a "caramel" flavor. This was the only version with the above combination of ingredients. Every morning I force my self to drink a concoction which unsuccessfully tries to mask the flavor. I will not be ordering this again. To be fair, some reviewers say they love the flavor. Not me.
