Well at one point I saw the name brand cloth I had been using was actually putting fine scratches on my guitar. Later, I went to sell that guitar and lost a ton of money. Just because of the crappy cleaning cloth. So I saw John Petrucci's tech using this cloth on a YouTube video. And thought if that's what he uses I'll give that one a try. It works great. It is very plush but sort of thick. I wipe my other guitars with this cloth now and I have yet to see any kind of scratch. I plan on putting one in each case I have so I'm not looking for the cloth when it's in a different case. It's sort of large (which is good) so I'll take up some space in your case.
