Review: Nice Sound for under $100 - Solid speaker, good range, great tone. This 16 ohm Midnight 60 speaker is mounted by itself in a 20x17x8 repurposed amplifier case that has been completely enclosed, and connected to an AS Telecaster through a small Marshall DSL1. It accurately reproduces any clean/driven Marshall tone, and does a nice job sounding like a Fender Twin with an emulator in the effects loop. It was very well packaged and arrived on time. It was easy to install as a rear mounted speaker. The Celestion Midnight 60 speaker is a really good value for what it cost.
