Bought it for a buddy getting into fishing. Great intro rod, decent price point. Hauled some 20 lb' rockfish from 150 m depth fairly easily. Good action and strength. Best part is that its a really good collapsible 2 piece rod, very compact, roughly 3 feet folded. Material is also light weight.

I didn’t know what to expect when I bought this rod, but its ultimate test came when I fought and landed a 12 pound striped bass. The rod held up REALLY GOOD. The only issue is that the handle caps don’t appear to be fixed properly and I lost mine the first day of fishing in the ocean, but no big deal. I still give this rod 5 star rating. It casts very good. So please go ahead and buy it.

I needed a new rod for flipping stick baits, but can't afford the $300 to $400 price tag on the premium brands, so I rolled the dice on this one despite having been disappointed by similar products in the past and I'm glad I did. I put it through the ringer on three trips so far and it is held up fantastic. The action on it is great for flipping heavier stickbaits, and it has held up great to fish up to 50 pounds. I'm genuinely impressed with this. The rod blank seems top quality. The guides are about what you would expect at this price point, and the build QC is probably considerably lower than some of the really expensive brands, but so far it's worked great for me.

This rod feels super strong and well built. It feels like it could easily fight a shark. The guides being big have no effect on the performance. I paired mine up with a quantum optix 80 reel. Edit: this rod was great while it lasted, though I haven’t left a review year since I received it, the main guide at the bottom became brittle after use in saltwater within a few months rendering the whole rod unusable. The rod is located in another country thus why I never attempted to return it. But nevertheless very disappointing due to my initial excitement over the quality and feel of the rod. Perhaps I received a dud.

Nice looking rod nice and strong but light in the hand, the only thing one of the ceramic rings fell out in one week having it.

This broke first time I got a snapper on it. : ( The seller reached out to me quickly and offered to and did replace the broken rod with a new one. Great customer service from the seller. Will buy here again!
