## Description

From the Manufacturer One man's castle is another man's cardboard box. or maybe his RV, tree house, igloo or skyscraper. In this fast-paced game of bidding and bluffing to get the highest-ranking properties, it isn't how much you pay for the properties; it's how much you sell them for. All players try to purchase the most valuable properties for the least amount of money and them "flip" them (turn around and sell those properties) for the highest-valued Currency Cards. Whoever has earned the most money at the end of the game wins.

This board game met those criteria. The concept of the game is simple and relies on a mixture of strategy and luck. This is a great game for playing with people of different ages and skill levels as it can be enjoyable for all. At the start of this game players are given coins which they can use to buy properties which range in value. Players use coins to bid against each other in order to win the highest value properties. The bidding occurs in a circular order where you must outbid the previous players bid or take the lowest value property currently on the table. The bidding has a strategic element in which if you already placed a bid and decide not to up the bid on your next turn you must still give half of your bid (rounded up) to the bank while simultaneously taking the lowest value property.This is all done during round one. In round two those property cards are sold in an attempt to earn more money than other players. The player with the most money wins. The game takes about 10-15 minutes to play. Visually the game is appealing. The cards depict different properties, with higher value cards showing more extravagant properties and vice versa. The box was smaller than anticipated and is about the size of a box of crackers, however this does not take away from the enjoyment of the game.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the difference between this version and the Travel Edition?**
A: Box is smaller and flimsier in Travel Edition. Coins are poorer quality in travel edition (very thin like the cards themselves).  In this version the coins are good quality and durable.  This can be important because you are hiding your coins from everyone, so if you hold them in your sweaty hand the whole game I imagine the coins in travel version could go bad.  Everything else should be about the same.

**Q: Is this the new small Tuckbox version?**
A: This is the Gryphon Games version, about 6x8x2 inches (a bit larger than Archaeology or Guns & Steel). The Travel Edition is much smaller, with the same cards, but slimmer coins. Thanks!

**Q: Is there a way to make this a 2 person game?**
A: Sure, I've played it with only two players many times.  Doesn't break the game experience at all.

**Q: What does "96 months to 9600 months" in the description mean?  I want to be sure I'm buying the game I'm familiar with but this confuses me.**
A: I believe this means ages it is appropriate for.

Great little filler game that can be learned by anyone in a few minutes. The instructions are very short and quick. So far everyone who's played it with us has loved it. The game comes in two parts, the purchasing part and the buying part. Both are fun. The other cool part is that although people who haven't played it a lot will have some statistical advantage, an unskilled player can still very much win because most of the fun is in trying to guess what the other players will do. The better you are at predicting people the better you will be at this game.
