Had to slightly enlarge the holes in the body to mount these lights. These are not plug and play but the 32 year-old factory plugs had problems anyway so the direct wire wasn't an issue for me. Lights are nice and bright, especially the reverse lights. Good value for the price. Would buy again and recommend for anyone looking to keep a factory look with the modern convenience of LED. Review: A very good product - Installing these lights was a bit of a trick, the wire colors did not match up with my 95 yj. I had to find a wire diagram to know what colors to combine. Once you get past this though the lights are bright and stunning. Both sides have the license plate light too so there's no getting them reversed. I also had to drill out the threaded holes in the jeep tub because these lights have the bolt fixed to their back. I think this is to make them water proof. You have to reach up under the tub and put the nut on the bolt from the inside of the tub. All in all it was an easy installation with few tools required. Took about 2 hours most time spent trying to find wire references on you tube. March 6, 2023 I've had these lights for a bit now and have to say they do still work to my fullest expectation. ## Features - Package Includes: 2Pcs Universal Square 12V Combination 38 LED Signal Tail Light; Each one is equiped with 38 Super bright LEDs: 16 Red LEDs for stop/turn/tail functions, 18 White LEDs for reverse/backup function, 4 White LEDs for license illuminator; NOTE: Ther's only one side has license plate lights - These rear combination tail lights have studs on back sticking out will bolt to any flat surface; This is not a replacement for Wrangler YJ CJ tail lights, not factory mount. If you want to install it on wrangler trucks, you may need some modification: There is no wiring harness so you have to splice the wires yourself. Also, The bolt holes are larger than stock so you will need to drill out your body to make them fit. The entire assembly is a touch larger than stock as well - DOT Compliant for street legal lighting. 12 volts; Low ampere draw; 3-stud mount design is easy to install on any vehicle exterior and the distance between the mounting blots is 2"-2.2"; Resistant polycarbonate housing and acrylic lens provide weatherproof protection against water, shock & vibration - HARDWIRED with 4 Color Wires: White Wire-Ground; White+Yellow, 18 white Leds work as back up light; White+Black, 16 Red Leds light up in low brightness + 4 White license illuminator works; White+Red,16 Red Leds light up in high brightness - This rear tail light is universal fit for 12V vehicles & trailers including trucks, short and extended trailers, Wrangler vehicles, RVs, boats, vans, buses, flatbeds and more ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01GJRR3RU | | Additional Features | Red Rear Combination LED Tail Light w/ Backup Light and License Plate Light - Driver Side, Universal Red Combination LED Tail Light w/ Backup Light - Passenger Side | | Auto Part Position | Rear | | Automotive Fit Type | Universal Fit | | Best Sellers Rank | #10,371 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #21 in Automotive Tail Light Assemblies | | Brand | Partsam | | Brand Name | Partsam | | Color | Red Lens | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Universal for 12v vehicles like truck, trailer, boat, bus, lorry, van, caravan, also suitable for wrangler yj/tj, etc | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 1,247 Reviews | | Included Components | 2x Universal Square 12V Combination 38 LED Signal Tail Lights | | Item Type Name | Tail Light | | Item Weight | 16 ounces | | Lens Color | Red Lens | | Lens Material | Polycarbonate | | Light Source | LED | | Light Source Type | LED | | Manufacturer | Partsam | | Manufacturer Part Number | GTCV-0977742255 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 1 Year Warranty | | Model Number | 13 | | Number of Items | 2 | | Set Name | Universal 38 LED Tail Light Pair with License Light | | Special Feature | Red Rear Combination LED Tail Light w/ Backup Light and License Plate Light - Driver Side, Universal Red Combination LED Tail Light w/ Backup Light - Passenger Side Special Feature Red Rear Combination LED Tail Light w/ Backup Light and License Plate Light - Driver Side, Universal Red Combination LED Tail Light w/ Backup Light - Passenger Side See more | | Specific Uses For Product | Exterior, Rear Lights, Brake Lights, Turn Signal Lights, Running Lights, Reverse Lights, Backup Lights, Tail Lights, License Plate Light Specific Uses For Product Exterior, Rear Lights, Brake Lights, Turn Signal Lights, Running Lights, Reverse Lights, Backup Lights, Tail Lights, License Plate Light See more | | UPC | 732240771210 | | Unit Count | 2 Count | | Vehicle Service Type | Universal for 12v vehicles like truck, trailer, boat, bus, lorry, van, caravan, also suitable for wrangler yj/tj, etc Vehicle Service Type Universal for 12v vehicles like truck, trailer, boat, bus, lorry, van, caravan, also suitable for wrangler yj/tj, etc See more | | Voltage | 12 volts | | Wattage | 10.56 watts | ## Product Details - **Auto Part Position:** Rear - **Brand:** Partsam - **Color:** Red Lens - **Lens Color:** Red Lens - **Light Source Type:** LED - **Voltage:** 12 volts - **Wattage:** 10.56 watts ## Images ![Pair 38 LED Universal Tail Brake Turn Stop License Back up Reverse Lights Rear Combination for Wrangler YJ TJ CJ Truck Trailer Boat RV,12V Stud Mounted Lamps Waterproof,Pack of 2 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81XCJ3BpI-L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good upgrade for Jeep YJ! *by P***D on May 17, 2026* Perfect replacement for the factory originals on my 1994 Jeep Wrangler YJ.
