Has anyone tried both?** A: Not a hundred percent sure what you mean by a "massage ball roller", like a Hyoervolt product? We have like fancy lacrosse ball type trigger point massage balls of several different makes and models and we prefer this one. I have high scoliosis and when I work at a desk my shoulders/upeer mid back get screaming angry - this little guy works great to roll out some of the damage. **Q: How does this compare with a foam roller to roll out the glutes and legs?** A: It is for a different purpose. My medical massage therapist asked me to get one. It is for the spine. You lay on the floor & arrange it so the two balls are on each side of the spine, protecting the spine from the hard surface, then roll. Just be careful: she has me do a specific area of the spine due to prior injury.
