Review: Smoke test made easy and fun - Worked AWESOME hooked up smoke machine, placed universal cap over my filler and the cap held as if they were designed to be with each other. 100% worth it, I reused the same one sticky cap 3 times and seal still holds as if 1st time each time. Very satisfied with the item.
Review: Small eval leaks can be hard to locate. This product can make it easy. - When searching for an evap leak it matters where into the system smoke is entered. If the leak is between the filler neck and carbon canister the most effective place to inject smoke is through the filler neck. I used this adapter on my '99 S10 to find a small leak in the filler neck vent pipe. I was amazed how much more smoke poured out when input through the filler neck compared with when input at the purge valve. Smoke particles can fall out of the air flow when traveling long distances. I recommend this product. It looks and feels like of excellent quality.
