The two duvet covers are not the same material at all. The 2012 one had a matt finish to it and seems much thicker material that this 2017 version. This one is really shiny and not at all what I was expecting. It is noisy when you turn in the night (the 2012 version did not make such noise). The first time the cat jumped on the bed the material snagged. The 2012 version has held up to years of 4 cats jumping on it without any sign of wear and tear and definitely no snags.What the heck have you done to what was a perfect bedding set? The details on the two sets look identical, but they are not identical materials. Seller/Manufacturer: Please bring back the old weight material, even if it carries a different description.
