Review: THEE HIT of the party!! - I didn't think that this was going to be such a big hit at my daughter's birthday party! The kids LOVED IT! It's HUGE and colorful! A ton of fun for the kids to play with! They were stretching it out across the living room and letting it go so it sprung back into shape. This thing can take a beating! It's way bigger than we thought, so it's kinda impossible to do the whole springing it back and forth in each hand, but that' fine, it's being used in a bunch of different ways. I think it would make a great display in the class room to show waves moving through a medium. That would be a kewl use for it! Or a hat.. that's kewl too.. just don't get your hair stuck in between the springs, that sucks..

This is the only slinky toy that has not been destroyed by my kids. A great find and all the kids love them. They drop them down the stairs and they sometimes get twisted up, but they have yet to bend or break. I can untwist it quickly and it is not misshapen at all. Perfect kids toy.

**Q: Is this better than the original Giant metal slinky for stairs**
A: I don't know how the giant metal slinky worked on stairs, but this works amazingly on stairs. Much better than the original metal slinky ever did!

**Q: Is this slinky made of hard or soft plastic?  Does it have a strong odour?**
A: Hard plastic, and very brittle. Ours broke in upon first use. We didn't notice any plastic odor.

**Q: It says 7 inches in diameter but then down in the product description it says "Product Dimensions: 6.1 x 6.2 x 5.9 inches" Which is it?**
