The first one would not generate any pressure. The second one run fine for about 10 minutes then the plastic pneumatic tubing attached to the included check valve got so hot that it softened and blew a hole in the tube. The whole top of the pump was dangerously hot and would burn your skin before you felt the heat. Basically the compressor is designed to dissipate heat out of the head of the compressor.
