A: Yes, it's cream. Very classy, stylish clock!

**Q: whats the white pastic thing for**
A: I assume you mean the  white plastic cross. That is to help hang it on a wall, the slot on the rear of the clock is a little small for some hooks and is also not deep enough for others. The solution, they provide their own hook that will fit.

**Q: Could some kind person plse take this useless female thru the steps on how to set it up plse! Not sure what I should be unscrewing ...**
A: Hi,  pleasedo not unscrew anything. Insert a battery in the back of the clock. Using the small dial at the back set the correct time.
That's  all I did and my clock is working perfectly.

Looks good and works ok. Cheap plastic construction but it is for the kitchen and at this price I am happy with it. Usual amazon knock and run delivery but fotunately we were at home.
