It does not taste like it has sugar. I have been taking this for probably on and off for a year. It is amazing what it has done for me for my acid reflex. It’s a little pricey; but it is well worth it. It’s not bad tasting. When I first started taking it, I was on Nexium. I was immediately able to quit taking the prescription. I don’t have to take this product every day and you can take it just as you need it. Which cuts down on the price of course depending on how long it lasts for you. It does also help with my constipation (comfortably). I’m soooo glad it was recommended to me. Side note: There is another product out there that’s a little less expensive; but, it has a worse taste and my experience is that it was not as effective. It’s not worth the $20 savings. Plus, it has ‘shellfish’ in it and not for anyone with those kind of allergies. I have only been on it a week now, so not long enough to tell major effects, but I swear I can feel a difference in how I feel after meals. My inflammation seems to have calmed some, and I’m using the restroom better. There isn’t an odor to the powder, however the taste is a little sweet (in a bitter way) lol.
