The Klein Tools Coax Explorer 2 verifies proper continuity of F-connector coaxial cables and maps their location. This tester comes with one (red) remote. The available color-coded remotes (sold separately) allow for up to four cables to be tested and mapped, displaying cable status via LED indicators - PASS, OPEN, or SHORT - that also identify the cable/remote location. This compact tester fits in your pocket. Review: Great device, get yourself more barrel connectors. - Worked like a charm. After years of plugging in cables and checking there's a signal via powering up the device, this was a huge time saver. I finally labeled all of my connections (should have done that in the first place) and will share this with friends when they need it as well. Time is money and this saved me a lot of it. Easy to use and the only thing that would improve this is additional barrel connectors. If you tracing four "cables," you're going to need those to make these work. The other option is to add the connector at the wall plate, but most of those were behind the TV or stand. Way easier to test the cable where it enters the box or TV.

Worked like a charm. After years of plugging in cables and checking there's a signal via powering up the device, this was a huge time saver. I finally labeled all of my connections (should have done that in the first place) and will share this with friends when they need it as well. Time is money and this saved me a lot of it. Easy to use and the only thing that would improve this is additional barrel connectors. If you tracing four "cables," you're going to need those to make these work. The other option is to add the connector at the wall plate, but most of those were behind the TV or stand. Way easier to test the cable where it enters the box or TV.
