When I knew I would be keeping them, I walked out in the yard and began the trek to the chicken coop. My feet stayed dry as I walked through the morning grass and tall weeds. I love the look and feel of these boots. They are soft leather with a higher sole, which adds height. There is a cushion around the ankle for those long days of wear. I got these on sale, and the value for the boot is great! My wife wears Danners only, which carry a heftier price tag, but these are the same quality for a more affordable price tag. Just bought a new pair after 1 1/2 years only because I have a messed up left foot that needs orthotics. They are very stable with a quick break in time. I use them for work and hiking.
