Be sure you have some wood glue and clamps on hand when you build them on a flat surface. The quality of the wood is excellent and we hated to paint over them, so we white washed them instead and put a polyurethane over the white wash to protect it and make them washable. These doors are excellent and I would definitely buy them again, if we needed more barn doors.
