The cores on this set are the standard size that everyone is fairly used used to. It's sister products are much larger and a touch smaller.There are only 120 pencils in this box, compared to the other 2 sets that contain 180 pencils. This is also a different pallet than the other 2 sets. (The other 2 sets contain the same pallets, with a different core size.If you love wax based pencils, or prismas, you should try any of the Kalour brand of pencils. In my opinion, they are a better quality of pencil at less than half the price. I rarely use the other brand, Prismas, because these are just.....well....better.All of the Ja l our brand of pencils regardless of which box you choose, are extremely creamy, easily blended, and have a huge pigment payoff.
