Review: Compatible with Zen's UK "BT digital voice" switchover - Bought as I'm a zen.co.uk customer, and have UniFi throughout the house (I don't use the Fritzbox). With the BT/UK "digital voice" switchover in full-swing, I wanted a means to keep our old land line alive. This worked perfectly. **Q: Will this convert digital voip signal to analog on a stand alone caller id unit? (connected to a point of sale system).**
A: Yes.  You will connect the device to your internal or external SIP service, then it will ring and pass through the caller ID between the rings, just like a regular phone line.
Also, the caller ID is enabled by default.

**Q: Can this be set up to connect as an openvpn client?**
A: OpenVPN client support was added to the Grandstream HT812 firmware version 1.0.29.8 and later. This means that if your device is running firmware version 1.0.29.8 or later, you should be able to set up the HT812 as an OpenVPN client.

Lo probé con Megacable conectando el módem a modo puente con este dispositivo usando la VLAN 559 y funciona de maravilla. Es importante que la cuenta SIP se puede tener activa en un dispositivo a la vez.
