It's laminated and folds in half vertically. The moon image occupies the entire right side and part of the left when you open it up. It's a nice size though I need my reading glasses to really see some of the labeling clearly. The label text is white (the maria/seas), light yellow (numbered craters), and orange (Apollo landing sites) and doesn't overwhelm the images. It's easy to look at the image and kind of not see most of the text while focusing on the lunar detail. It's simple and useful. It would be nice to also have at least a small non-mirrored image as a reference when not using my telescope but I have lots of moon pics I can use. NOTE: Since desertcart no longer allows for packaging feedback via our orders, I'll say that my moon map came in a flexible padded Prime envelope. The map may have been put in flat to start but the envelope was too big and at some point the map moved around and it ended up folded in half so that now I've got an unwanted deep crease over the whole thing. I opted to just keep it since it was a couple days late as it was and I want it for the weekend. They really ought to ship it in sturdier envelope though.
