I'm not disappointed. I do a lot of album & 45 transfers, as well as just enjoy putting an album on while working in my shop. I tried others but to my ear this cartridge provided the best reproduction of instruments and voice. I would recommend also getting a Shure SFG-2 Stylus Tracking Force Gauge so you can set the weight up correctly. For $25 the gauge will payback in stylus costs and wear on the media.
