Dice Throne is a game of intriguing dice, tactical card play, powerful heroes, and unique abilities. It's a fast-paced 2-6 player combat game. Accumulate combat points and spend them on cards that have a large range of effects, such as granting permanent hero upgrades, applying status effects, and manipulating dice directly (yours, your teammate's, or even your opponent's). **Q: Can you buy these 2 and still play? With just the 2? Or do you need the first set?**
A: All of the dice throne season 2 releases are stand alone games. You don’t need to purchase season one to play. Although all of the characters are very well balanced between both seasons and you can match any of them against each other if you wish to purchase the others. Not necessary but certainly adds more variety. Great game!

**Q: is this the champion edition?**
A: I do not think so?

**Q: Can you play this with the marvel set ?**
A: Absolutely.   All the Dice Throne games work with the others, and supposedly they are also tested for balance.  You will want to go out to the Dice Thrones website where you can download and print some adjustments they made for these 2 as they received some power adjustments in follow up testing.  The download is free.
