The i3T has a slightly warmer kelvin and a floodier beam where as the i3T2 has a cooler kelvin and a bit narrower of a beam but still quite floody. Both are easily capable of lighting up a corridor or back alley with a reasonable throw and equally are good as an inspection/work light for closer hands-on work. I tend to use this torch in short blasts of a couple of minutes rather than continual discharge and as such the battery does last a good while under these circumstances. I believe a continual discharge will last circa 30-40 minutes on a single AAA hence i carry a couple of spare batteries in my coat pocket for peace of mind. The button feels nice and firm, wouldnt likely accidentally be turned on and has a crisp click to the lock.
