I bought this item (8oz size) & like it, it's well built, the inside was clean, nothing came out when I rinsed it with vinegar first then tequila. Quality product, they use the top grade stainless. I like the large size that will fit in front pants pocket comfortable. Back pocket also if not sitting. I plan to buy a 4 oz size for my wife and also to see if the 4oz size will fit into a shirt pocket. These are so handy to richen up a weak restaurant cocktail or to put in your ginger ale at a party.

Works perfectly, good size to carry when riding and it does not leak. I found it easier to pour into the top then to use the funnel. Calling it a 'Gift Box' is a bit of a stretch - it is really just a black cardboard box. For the money this is an excellent flask. I go foxhunting on cold morns and this is perfect.

Great flask though I cannot stand it up to fill it, without holding onto it and the funnel and the whiskey bottle simultaneously. I was shipped a second unit after I emailed them, and the second unit has one very tiny angled spot where it stands, but not well enough to pour into it without holding onto it. I'm still going to use it as it is a great looking flask, and I enhanced mine with a large name engraved on the side by Things Remembered at the local mall. I'm going to try to gently tap the bottom flatter without impacting the seal. I was NOT provided this for free or at a reduced cost, though the replacement one they shipped was provided at no cost.

This is an amazing piece regardless of the great price. So far no taste, but I've been pretty good about emptying it shortly after filling it ;). I plan to gift many of this unit to friends.

I bought this flask for my husband as a birthday present. He had received one many years ago from a nephew, but had it in his back pocket, forgot it was there, and sat on it. The middle area was flatten so it was hard to use. I also had it engraved with his initials by a local engraving business. He loved it. He lost the tiny funnel from the first one so having the top attached and the funnel has made it so much easier to use, keep with him, and enjoy.

Overall, the flask body feels sturdy and does not flex when gripped tightly. Initial leak tests look favorable, but insufficient packaging protection, wiggly hinge and cap plating cosmetics drop a couple of stars. The flask showed up packaged by itself in a padded envelope - I immediately noticed that the corner of the box was partially crushed. Upon removing the flask from its box, I noted that there was a scuff in the brushed stainless steel body of the flask on one of its corners. The box also showed a good deal of compression in that area. The cap screws on pretty smoothly and I did not notice any metal shavings or flaking near the threads on either side. That said, the chrome-like top of the cap showed a bunch of spots that could be plating imperfections or more shipping damage - gentle buffing with a cotton cloth did not buff them out and running my nail over them it feels like they're bitted. I'll keep an eye on it to see if it develops into flaking/ deeper pitting/bubbling and will update if it occurs. The metal cap holder feels a bit flimsy - mostly due to the play at the hinge - the two interlocking sides of the hinge are not a tight fit and you get a bit more lateral movement on it than I'd like. The flask sat throughout today filled with water and in a couple of orientations. No leakage was noted. I've got a few ounces of single malt in it now and I'll report if taste/color change over a few days.

This is nice little flask I’ve used repeatedly over the years. It’s not fancy, but it’s easy to clean, it doesn’t leak, and it doesn’t impart any odd flavors to the contents.

Just got delivered 30 minutes ago. The box it came in was smashed which worried me a little but the flask seems to be in great shape. Filled it with water and there isn’t any leaking. The cap threads on nice and easy. The one thing i worry about is the hinge on the piece that holds the cap. Other than that this seems to be a decent little flask. I think it’s worth 15 bucks.

Try to go on weekend hikes and getaways as much as I can. The flask is to celebrate reaching the summit of whatever we climb. Keeps my Macallan safe for the journey.
