Review: ~ 5 Feisty Stars ~ - Well let me start by saying this book was AMAZING!!! Vi Keeland knows how to give her a readers a fabulous 5 star read. It was so not what I was expecting to be. After reading the blurb I thought this book was going to be a fun and entertaining student/teacher romance story. And it was all that, but it was so much more!!! This story was so much deeper and more emotional than I thought it would be going in. I should know by now not to underestimate a Vi Keeland book. This woman definitely knows how to put my emotions and heart through the wringer. This has to be one of my favorite books of hers so far, and I have loved every book of hers that I have read. Her stories are fun, sexy, entertaining but also heartfelt and emotionally charged. You can’t help but fall in love with all the characters she gives us. I think this is one of the only books where I haven’t hated someone the author introduced us to. All of the secondary characters were great and added to the story in some way. Her stories always suck me in and I devour them in less than a day and this book was no different. The flow and pace of the story was spot on. I loved that this story was filled with a lot of outside drama….the focus was primarily on Caine and Rachel. Their love story was intriguing enough that it kept me enthralled and turning the pages (quickly) Beautiful Mistake is a standalone novel told from primarily Rachel’s POV but we do get some chapters from Caine’s. The way this story was told and unfolded I thought was perfect. It held a little bit of suspense, but was also kind of predictable, but it was never boring!! This story followed the journey of Rachel and Caine. I don’t want to say to much about their story because this is a book that each reader needs to unfold themselves. I loved the banter between Caine and Rachel and the sexual tension was kindle melting, but when they got together…holy explosion!!! HOT!!!! So if you are a fan of the forbidden student/teacher romance but also want a story with heart and emotion, then give this book a try. This was a more than a love story, it was a story about forgiveness and moving on. If you are a fan of Vi Keeland’s you don’t want to miss this newest addition to her fantastic collection. If she is a new author to you….pick up this gem, you won’t be sorry!!!!
Review: “When God Is Busy, He Sends An Angel” - Another well written story by Vi Keeland. As per usual, the plot is thought provoking, heartwarming and also heartbreaking. This story deals with sexual abuse of a minor, overcoming adversity, and the unconventional way a teenage boy steps up to report this atrocity but grows up carrying unwarranted guilty feeling that he didn’t do enough. Readers become privy to the backstory of Rachel and her sister with snippets throughout the book. The adult relationship between doctoral student Rachel and Professor Caine is well executed with good character development and believable sexual chemistry. I particularly enjoyed the secondary characters, Charlie, Rachel’s protective boss, and Lydia and Umberto, Rachel’s thesis subject. There was a truly eye opening storyline involving Lydia and Umberto’s 50 year marriage and the course of events that make one question, “What would you do when the love of your life develops Alzheimer’s. I don’t want to divulge too much. The conclusion was predictable and satisfying in its own right. If there is one criticism I have to make it’s that I would have wanted to know more about Rachel’s sister and her child. I question in my mind who the father is. We, as readers, did not get much info and I’m leaving this book with unresolved questions. Otherwise, it was as enjoyable read from cover to cover. I recommend this book.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There's No Such Thing As Coincidence
*by N***L on September 2, 2017*

Another awesome read by Vi Keeland. There's no wonder this book has topped the charts. It was well written and classic Vi Keeland quality. The story had a depth to it with characters Rachel Martin and Professor Caine West, as well as the minor characters. Another TA/Professor romance to satisfy the sweet tooth, and it's done masterfully. It starts out with a hilarious scene at a bar where Rachel mistakes her (unknowingly) soon-to-be boss with a guy her friend dated who they found out was married. She calls him a jerk and puts "Owen" in his place, only to find out he's not Owen, and of course, the craziness ensues. I loved the twists in this book that I didn't see coming until the moment they hit me in the face. There were also parts of this book that had me literally in tears, especially mom's advice from beyond the grave. I bawled like a baby. I also love how music was a prominent theme throughout, and especially loved the nursing home situation that brought humor and unfathomable selflessness. I was also amazed at how the characters' faith played a role, yet not in a way that made you feel like you were being preached to. It was just a part of who they were, a part of their history, and how it played a role in them coming together was ingenious. Loved it! This book is chock full of chemistry. Rachel and Caine were so much fun to read, and I loved how their relationship slowly unfolded. I read the entire story eagerly, and found that it kept my attention really well throughout. A very satisfying read.
