Review: Great little knife for such a cheap cheap price - Before these were not available on desertcart and I assume it's patent issues. Now they are being mass produced for cheap - yes these knives are cheaply made and function well. -The gut hook has burs on the edge but i'm not complaining about that for - something that I purchased for 12 dollars. -The edge on the knife it self is a joke - it's just ground on a grinder to look sharp but isn't - so be prepared to do some honing. -Sheath is well made and I bet if the blade was sharp - it would cut up the sheath. -Handle is very grippy - I love the texture b/c I know it will prevent slipping from my grip. I highly recommend this to another who is willing to do some work to get a nice piece of knife and usage of this product. Off to the hog lease to do some hunting! I have to admit, for the low price of this knife, I am shocked at what I received. The knife has a good weight to it, and I love the handle, it has a great grip, kinda like the old-school bicycle grips: perfect for maintaining a hold on the knife whilst blood and gooey stuff gets on your hand that would otherwise incapacitate your grip. Factory edge leaves something to be desired, but that's easily remedied. As for the sheath, I have to say I like it! I've gotten some cheap nylon sheaths/pouches on many items and this one is better than all of them. It has a rigidity that feels like it could withstand much use.
