I have bought this brand, Freskaro, before for my dog that pulls and bolts on the leash while training. A must to connect collar to training collar to leash. Several times her training collar broke and the twist screw to release carabiner prevented her from escaping. It has held, still works, and hasn't rusted being used outdoors for other uses. Knowing how durable and reliable this brand is, I wanted to buy additional carabiners for my Carolina Coop. This size is perfect to fit into the gate latch locks on the door, egg hutch, and coop double doors. They also fit perfectly for the window gate latches, too. I love the option to manually screw to lock or screw the lock down to be able to open and close without locking with my thumb leaving my other hand free. The included Keychain hinge rings, I used one to attach to the end of the stainless steel latch opener cable. I just didn't want to drill a big hole in the door frame. So I fed the cable through the wire hardware cloth, then connected the hinged ring to the end to prevent the cable going through. Even if I drilled a hole in the frame, it will need the ring to prevent it from accidently feeding through. It is nice to find a brand that offers carabiner that work flawlessly, durable, strong, and reliable. Note: each carabiner with ring were packaged in a sewn sealed cloth pouch put together in a box. Con: I leave the carabiner on my dog's collar. From her movement, I always have to untwist to open. The twisting device always ends up in the lock position.

I purchased these carabiners after I dropped my keys outside. I love that it has a lock, making it secure. I love the color. It's a necessity for me for peace of mind.

Good for keeping your keys together and organized . I wouldn’t trust it on a belt loop because the clasp can unscrew while I’m working and yet it’s still useful for many other uses.

Got this to use with my HidrateSpark bottle since I'm pretty clumsy. I love that it has a locking mechanism and it seems well made. The last carabiner I had on there had sharp edges and started fraying my strap a bit. This one is nice and smooth. But I don't even have to worry about that since I can use the handy little ring that comes with it. I do worry a bit it'll come undone but so far it's been good. Only time will tell I guess. I am definitely going to buy more. Great product for a great cost....I'm all about that!!

I used to use a carabiner without a lock to hold my keys. It would intermittently get pressed and some keys would fall off. I got these carabiners with the locking mechanism and they work well.
