Enables more time for back rolling to properly align metallic particles and eliminate seams. Also helps keep paint from drying too quickly when applying to a large surface. From the Manufacturer Extender for Rolling, when added to Metallic Paint Collection paints, extends the open time or 'wet-edge' of the paint. This added open time allows for 'back-rolling' as a last step to properly orient the metallic particles and eliminate seams. The Extender can also be used to transform Metallic Paint Collection Paints into translucent glazes for faux finish applications. ## Features - Expands Open-Time - Low VOC System - Extender can also be used to transform Metallic Paint Collection paints into translucent glazes for faux finish applications - This material is a colorless extender - It is a stable, non-flammable, translucent flowable liquid ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000I1VE9W | | Best Sellers Rank | #268,709 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #58 in Household Paint Solvents | | Brand Name | Modern Masters | | Color | color | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (113) | | Finish Type | finished | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00740774996023 | | Included Components | Paint Extender | | Item Form | item_form | | Item Type Name | Satin Extender For Rolling | | Item Volume | 16 quarts | | Item Weight | 6.56 ounces | | Manufacturer | Paint Sundries Solutions | | Model Name | Metallic Paint Collection | | Model Number | ME65116 | | Part Number | ME65116 | | Size | 1 Count (Pack of 1) | | Specific Uses For Product | Interior | | UPC | 740774996023 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Modern Masters - **Color:** color - **Finish Type:** finished - **Included Components:** Paint Extender - **Item Form:** item_form - **Item Volume:** 16 quarts - **Model Name:** Metallic Paint Collection - **Size:** 1 Count (Pack of 1) - **Specific Uses For Product:** Interior - **Unit Count:** 1 Count ## Images ![Modern Masters Metallic Paint Collection Extender Additive - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61PdGvAb4rL.jpg) ![Modern Masters Metallic Paint Collection Extender Additive - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/314WTnjhnZL.jpg) ![Modern Masters Metallic Paint Collection Extender Additive - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51dXphlLh0L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Number Of Items** options. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co/products/21630678-modern-masters-metallic-paint-collection-extender-additive](https://www.desertcart.co/products/21630678-modern-masters-metallic-paint-collection-extender-additive) --- *Product available on Desertcart Colombia* *Store origin: CO* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
