A: This iPod touch case fits iPod touch 7th generation, iPod touch 6th generation, iPod touch 5th generation. There is a hole on the back left, so it can be compatible with iPod touch 5th generation`s  ipod touch loop.

**Q: Will this case allow the iPod to work with a lightning charger dock (i.e. is charger edge of case thin enough to allow iPod to plug in)?**

Fits great and I have to say.. I love the deep purple color. It’s perfect! I needed a case for my old iPod so I can use it now that Das Führer (aka the company president) has decided to ban using personal cell phones to listen to music or audio books while working. But using an mp3 player is fine. (Hard eye roll)
