Since we use wildflower honey from different countries of origin, colors range from light amber to amber based on harvests. This variation doesn't affect quality or flavor **Q: What should I do if my honey starts to crystallize?** A: It's natural for high-quality honey, like Mike's Hot Honey, to crystallize over time, especially in cooler temperatures. But don't worry, it's still perfectly good to eat! To return your honey to its liquid state, gently warm it to about 110°F **Q: Do I need to refrigerate Mike's Hot Honey after opening?** A: No. For the best flavor and texture experience, store Mike's Hot Honey at room temperature (ideally 70-80°F) both before and after opening. Cooler temperatures accellerate the natural crystalization process **Q: What's the difference between Original and Extra Hot Mike's Hot Honey?** A: Extra Hot delivers the same sweet-heat combo as our Original, but with an extra kick. Extra Hot stays true to our one-two flavor punch of sweetness then heat, but with kick of heat upfront at the front of you palate, thanks to a hotter pepper **Q: How do you ensure ethical treatment of your bees?** A: We source honey from ethical, sustainable partners—cooperatives and small farmers who prioritize bee health. We rigorously test our honey to ensure it's free from any traces of antibiotics, a sign of healthy and well-cared-for bees ## Frequently Bought Together - Mike's Hot Honey, Original & Extra Hot, America's #1 Spicy Honey with Chili Peppers, Gluten-Free, Paleo-Friendly, (10oz Bottle, 2 Pack) - Mike's Hot Honey, America's #1 Brand of Hot Honey, Spicy Honey Infused with Chili Peppers, Certified Kosher, Gluten-Free, Paleo-Friendly, Sweet Heat, Perfect for Hot Sauce Lovers (10oz Bottle, 1 Pack) - Blue Diamond Almonds, Bold Wasabi & Soy Sauce, 6 Oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co/products/212705697-mikes-hot-honey-original-and-extra-hot-variety-pack-10oz](https://www.desertcart.co/products/212705697-mikes-hot-honey-original-and-extra-hot-variety-pack-10oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Colombia* *Store origin: CO* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
