Review: Quality mount for hiding devices - Never thought of a product like this before for mounting larger devices on the wall behind a TV. This worked perfect for a WiFi modem for a customer and held the very large device with ease and with only two large horizontal straps. If I could recommend anything, it would be to put a level on the mount for those of us that utilized it by mounting it 90 degrees to its normal mounting. Good thing I brought my levels (I always do) and it was a breeze to mount.

**Q: Can you mount a surge protector with this on a brick fireplace?**
A: This TotalMount includes special drywall screws to enable easy mounting of your electronic devices to drywall with only a screwdriver.

For mounting to brick surfaces, while wearing eye protection, use the mount as a guide to pre-drill the screw holes using a 3/16 inch diameter masonry drill bit. Then, use the appropriate anchor screws to mount your TotalMount to the brick wall.

A: It probably could but it’s not the most secure straps in the world so I would be wary of that.

Bought it to wall mount my wifi router. The whole thing is very small, but the straps are very long, so it can support many devices. The straps also get reasonably tight. Installation is easy, it's nice that it comes with a level. Annoying that it only comes with six screws, and no drywall anchors. So you either have those, have to go get them, or screw it to a stud (which you probably should do depending on how he heavy the object you want to mount is).
