For you who assume Taiwan is China, please do your research. Taiwan produces some of the best goods in the world, with excellent quality control, safety measures and treats their employees like human beings. **Q: Do the male and female inlet/outlet on this fit a typical garden water hose?** A: Yes **Q: Can this be used with a quick connect kit? Outdoor faucet currently has back flow preventer and will not allow the quick connect to function.** A: I have 12 of these attached on the hoses in my yard and all of them are used with quick connect adapters (Dramm). Actually, I have 2 quick connect adapters on each hose - 1 between the hose bib and the hose and another on the end of the hose, which permits me to easily switch between various nozzles. **Q: Is it easy to turn the knob? I mean... really easy? (I'm getting this for my wife who has injury in her hands and has trouble with normal hose bibb)** A: The amount of torque needed to move the handle from close to open is probably about the same as any other valve of similar configuration. The thing about this one is that the lever is angled significantly upward, which allows you to put more on it. You could use the heel of your palm, or the edge of your hand, to open the valve. It is very well made and it is the smoothest of any that I have ever used. Smooth action & noticeably higher flow rate compared with many smaller orificed garden hose valves. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Excellent heavy brass valve, unforutnatly made with lead *by A***N on 20 May 2021* Purchased as a quick shut-off/on for the side of a backyard hose-reel. The valve itself is of excellent quality. Water flow stops/starts with ease and the lever operates smoothly. The issue I have with this valve is that it's made from leaded brass (contains lead). This fact wasn't anywhere to be found in the Amazon listing. The only reason I discovered this is because the packaging listed the State of California warning. Would not have purchased if I'd known it was leaded brass.
