Reemerging just in time for warm weather adventures, tie-dye makes a comeback in the form of quick-dry polyester straps. A vegan sandal that employs recycled plastic from traceable REPREVE® yarn, this retro remake propels the iconic Original Universal into bold new territory.

Review: My go-to summer footwear - Genuinely the comfiest, well-made sandals I've ever owned. I have (extra) wide feet and prefer a flexible "barefoot"-style sole and these are perfect for that. They don't have a ton of arch support or general structure, but that's a plus in my case. They are very sturdy, I took these on a 1 mile "easy" hike (that nearly took me out; there were significant elevation changes, steep sections, and places where the trail was completely washed out) and came out no worse for wear minus a bit of sand hitching a ride. They cleaned up easily with a gently scrub and some dish soap once I got home. They've become my go-to summer shoe with how easy they are to throw on and go. Even in the rain, I'd rather have wet feet than wet socks, and they aren't slippery at all.
Review: I've learned to like these.. - I've had these sandals for about 3 years now and feel like I can give them an honest review. They're thin. Almost flip-flop thin. But that's understandable and a good thing for me. The very first Teva sandals were flip-flops with 2 watch bands attached to secure the sandals to the inventor's feet. So the name of these sandals say it all. The compact size is great for a light packer, like me, taking up very little space in my bag. The EVA footbed is squishy and comfortable. The raised waffle pattern helps keep my feet dry & comfortable. And the microban treatment keeps the sandals smelling like new. Teva's Durabrasion rubber sole feels like it'll last quite a long time. I use my sandals for light to medium walking; walking on resort property and around the city. I don't go hiking in these (would you hike in flip-flops?). Now for the bad news. The toe strap on the left sandal digs into my pinky toe. This seems to be a common problem with some people. My solution was to loosen the toe strap until it stopped digging into my toe. Of course I had to adjust the right sandal to match. The ankle straps are fairly snug to prevent the sandals from slipping off my feet. The length is about a 1/2" too long for my feet. I wear an 8.5-9, depending on the manufacturer, and I bought these in size 9. Most Teva sandals can be adjusted behind the heel, but not these. There are only 2 adjustment points, the toes and the ankles. So after my adjustments there is about 3/4" behind my heels and my toes are almost to the front edge. Another small peeve I have is that the Velcro straps feel like Velcro tape, very thin. Overall though, I like these sandals because they're light and comfortable, have a bit of arch support, have rubber soles for traction & durability, and perform well enough for my purposes all in a compact size.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable and great quality

I finally found a shoe that fits perfectly! As a woman with wide size 10 feet, I've often found that men's shoes fit me better because of the extra width. I jokingly say I inherited my father's feet! Finding comfortable shoes has always been a challenge, especially with bunions. My Tevas have been amazing. I ran around all day yesterday with no rubbing on my heels, no irritation to my bunions, and my feet felt comfortable the entire day. I'm so happy to have finally found a shoe that provides both the width and support I need.
