From the Manufacturer Streak across the sky with the realistic jet plane. Jump in the cockpit, close the canopy and take off. Operate the retractable landing gear and working ailerons and then sweep the wings back and go supersonic. It's just like the real thing. Rebuilds into a aerobatic plane.

Review: Very cool lego set - This plane was fun to build. It's a lot bigger than I expected. It comes with instructions for a what looks like a private jet plane (2 instruction booklets), and a small prop plane. The jet plane has moveable parts: The cockpit opens, the wings sweep back, the langing gear can be raised/lowered, and there is a stick in the cockpit that pulls the elevators on the tail. The prop plane has some moveable parts as well: The landing gear raises/lowers, and the same elevator thing, I think. I don't remember for sure, as it's been in jet mode for the last 2 months.

**Q: Is it adaptable to 8293 Power Functions motor set?**
A: Purchased for my grandson. Reliable source says yes. But plane is now apparently a hard item to find. Enjoy. Wishing you fun.

**Q: does this need a battery ? is it movable ?**
A: It does not take batteries. It has gearing that moves the the wings forward or back and raises and lowers the landing gear.

**Q: are these motorised**
A: No. It is not motorised.

**Q: can it fly?**
A: With batteries very short range.

This plane was fun to build. It's a lot bigger than I expected. It comes with instructions for a what looks like a private jet plane (2 instruction booklets), and a small prop plane. The jet plane has moveable parts: The cockpit opens, the wings sweep back, the langing gear can be raised/lowered, and there is a stick in the cockpit that pulls the elevators on the tail. This is the best technic set I ever got! If you have great hands, technic is for you! This set only took me 2 hours to build, but the finished set was quite large... The most important to be successful with this complicated toy is a fantastic instruction written by LEGO. It required long time training with more simple models. My grandson is is 7.5 years old. He build this Jet by himself without any help but it took him around 4 hours. He uses LEGO for 3 years. LEGO, especially technic LEGO is very educational. It improves manual ability and 3D imagination.
