Why? Because you can just clip it to one of your bag straps on the outside making it easily accessible and it's so easy to use. You literally just open it, hang it on the table or wherever and put your strap on the bottom part! I recently used it at a restaurant where there was limited chair space to put my bag and obviously did not want it resting on the floor. It took literally a second to open and hang my bag on the table by me! I liked the matte black color because it matches my bag colors and it's also lightweight yet feels very sturdy.
