So here goes: I'm 5 ' 6" tall. 117 bs. Hips 36" I take a 31" or 31 1/2 inseam. I have many yoga pants but I was looking for something to wear around house and also if I need to run errands. So in other words not too tight. I am in my 60s. I bought small. I am old enough to like pants that go up to my waist or close to it. These do not go up as high as I would like. They land somewhere between my hips and waist. So I have the urge to pull them up. This results in them becoming waders. The length is fine as long as I stop trying to pull them up. I learned to stop myself and these pants are surprisingly comfortable. It was just a matter of me getting used to the fit. The material is soft and stretchy. Thin but not too thin. There's room around my thighs, so they are not skin tight. At the top of my thighs I can pinch an extra bit of material that is less than an inch (that's loose). At the widest point my thighs are 19 inches. Hope that helps someone else out there. If my legs were any longer in inseam, these would be too short. I have washed these in cold water several times. At first I line dried but then dried in dryer on low heat. These fit a lot like Danskin: but whereas Danskin go up to waist, these do not. Not as tight as Jockey or spaulding.
