What came out of that box was my old hat reincarnated, and most importantly of all, it fit perfectly. So good in fact I ordered two more and would have ordered even more except the desertcart app limited me to just two more for some reason. I’ve since ordered another plus two more having a silver outside hat label instead of red. It has a streach fit headband to it will definitely fit. **Q: How hard would it be to remove the logo patch? Would it damage the hat?** A: Same - I was concerned about this, but I've purchased two and removed the logos on both. Start with a razor blade to nip the threads. There was a small amount, a couple of 1/8" dabs, of glue underneath (as someone else said, the kind from a hot glue gun). I was able to carefully pick these away with the razor, and maybe my fingers without damaging the hat. It's a great hat for people with big heads, but they're pretty fragile. My first one expired after running a boat at about 30mph. And they require a lot of care when, for example, getting on/off an airplane. They won't survive a crushing. I love them because of how cool they are. ### ⭐ Not flexible Very brittle *by C***S on April 7, 2026* Like others mine was shipped in a box that didn't allow for the very fragile straw that maybe is way to brittle, room to lay flat, so a bent brim is a broken brim in this case. When they put the hat in the amazon box it broke the brim along every edge where it was bent to fit in a box 2 inches too small. The hat looks exactly like the pictures so I was extremely disappointed when I took it out of the box, it's way too brittle just putting it on you can feel the breaking, especially in the brim.
