## Questions & Answers

**Q: I purchased the 90% l-dopa product before and can not find it. Do you still manufacture it?**
A: It didn't work a bit. Don't waste your money

**Q: This improved my mood but also caused insomnia.  Does it contain caffeine, from the green tea?**
A: Pure Encapsulations DopaPlus does not contain stimulants. DopaPlus is generally well tolerated, and the ingredients have not been reported to cause insomnia. The green tea is decaffeinated.

**Q: How long does it take to feel the effects of this supplement?  Immediately or over time (weeks).**
A: In regards to seeing improvement of ADHD symptoms, the book I'm reading (Finally Focused by James Greenblatt) says it takes about two weeks. The schedule he outlines is this:
Take 1 pill, twice a day (total of two pills a day), for two weeks. This is a necessary warm up period so unbalanced brains can get used to the new neurotransmitters being created.
After two weeks increase the dose to 2 pills, twice a day (total of 4 pills a day), for two weeks
If needed, after two weeks increase to 3 pills, twice a day (total of 6 pills a day), for two weeks

I would presume that if nothing is felt after that, then you'd want to talk with your doctor.
If you have a deficiency in something, when it becomes balanced you may be able to cut back.
