How do I set this?** A: I initially found the flyer a little difficult to understand, but basically you have to set 2 variables, the target temperature and the temperature differential. So you would set the target temperature to 85 and the differential to 5 degrees. Thus if current tmp >= target - differential it shuts off. If current_tmp < target - differential it turns on. So if you fall below 80 degrees it turns on, and if you are over 85 degrees, it turns off. Make sense? **Q: Do I have to reset it every 24 hours? Or onceset is it good to go?** A: Once set, it stays set, even after power outages (of which I've had several since getting mine.) **Q: Im trying to heat 2 tanks with heat pads since this has 2 outlets will this control both heat pad separately?** A: No. You have one temperature probe. Both heat pads will shut off when the target temperature is reached at the probe.
