Stays in tune surprisingly well. I hate to give 4 stars because this could be the fault of my instrument, but the A string gives me dead notes in areas steel strings didn't. This was my first experience with synthetics so it could very well be the fault of my instrument per chatgpt. An expert might know. I went ahead about bought a higher end instrument to replace my beginner one. Will put strings on that and will update the review to either 5 stars or 1 star depending on whether those notes are dead.
