Review: Great bird cage cover - The bird cage cover does a great job at keeping the cage nice and dark for my two parrots. It is not fully blackout as I can see some light bleeding through, but the amount varies depending on the intensity of light you are attempting to block. I typically use it when it is bed time, but I still need the lights on in the room, and for that purpose, it works great. The fabric is very light weight and feels smooth. Due to the light weight nature, I have some reservations about its ability to withstand being chewed by my parrots, but so far, it has worked well. The cover is easy to attach to the cage with it's magnets. They are individual circular magnets placed every 6-8 inches (not a long magnet strip as I was assuming), with a rigid thin spacer between each magnet to help keep the upper fabric from sagging. The magnets are pretty strong and hold well; however, if you try to fold the fabric onto itself in order to open the cover without completely removing the fabric from the cage, the magnets can really only support 2-3 folds/overlaps before they start to lose strength due to the weight. My cage (without the leg height and play top height) measures 22"(W) x 24"(L) x 47"(H) and I purchased the 68" version. The cover fits it perfectly with a 6"-8" of overlap to spare. Overall, I really like this cover. The quality feels great, the magnets have good strength, and the fit matched exactly as the description noted. As long as your birds don't bite or chew it, I am confident it will last for many years!

**Q: My cage is 26"L x 26"W x 61.5"H will this work for it? Or would I have to try the 68 inch one?**
A: Yes I believe this will work for you. My cage is 24 x 22 and 58 inches from top to floor.(not including play top) there is plenty of extra wrap around and it covers to bottom of cage(not to floor). This works well for me because my cage has a metal “ skirt”. The magnets making putting it on and taking it off easy. My boys use it beachside of its simplicity. Good purchase.

**Q: we just purchased the Pervue 18 x 18 x 57 inches cage. which size fits ?**
A: I have the 61 inch cage which the cover 61 inch fits perfect and I love it. If you have a 57 inch cage the 61 inch cover will also fit your cage. Hope you like it.

**Q: Is this machine washable? Or is hand washing preferred?**
A: Because it has magnets sew into it, I would recommend hand washing.

The bird cage cover does a great job at keeping the cage nice and dark for my two parrots. It is not fully blackout as I can see some light bleeding through, but the amount varies depending on the intensity of light you are attempting to block.
