Review: Realistic Yuletide decoration - This little Christmas tree is gorgeous - so cute and realistic! It's more of a pine-tree branch than an actual Christmas tree - a branch in a tin-can - cool! It's like something you'd see broken off from a big tree on your way home from a wintery walk and you take it inside, stick it in a jar and put some baubles on it - bosh - Yuletide personified! It's going to make a great little centrepiece for my dining table with some tiny decorations on it. The only criticism I've got is that the tin-can is not really heavy enough and I can imagine it being easily knocked over when it's got the baubles on. It could have done with something heavy in the base before they put the fake soil in but it's not a big minus, just something to look out for, especially if you intend to put it on the floor and have pets (esp. cats) - they'll have it straight over! The branches did take a bit of faffing with to get right and I didn't seriously arrange them because it isn't time to use it yet but I'm sure it'll look great once I've opened them out properly. A lot of snow fell off as well and the pine cones were ridiculously large and out of proportion so I cut them off (they were only tied on with a twist of wire) but apart from that I am really going to enjoy my dinky Christmas 'tree' for years to come! It was well packaged and only need a little bit of adjustment out of the box the get the branches looking right. Beautiful. I added a couple of pics for height comparison.
