A great deal of thought has been involved in producing this series of excellent books - essential for anyone working towards exams. I drum for fun and am enjoying working through the grades - even though I won't be taking exams. The grade 1 and 2 songs are much more challenging and teach me techniques compared to Rockschool at the same level, which is just boots and cats 4/4 bass/snare/hi-hat tunes.
