## Overview

The WindyNation 12V Linear Actuator Kit features two 20-inch stroke actuators with a 225 lbs load capacity, powered by a 12V supply and controlled via a momentary DPDT switch. Built with IP65-rated 6061 aluminum, this kit is designed for smooth, reliable linear motion in both indoor and outdoor applications, complete with mounting brackets and connectors for easy installation.

## Description

Linear actuators are actuators which create motion in a straight line. Unlike a motor, which creates circular motion, a linear actuator can be used with any application that requires moving something in a straight line (e.g. up and down or side to side). Windy Nation LIN-ACT1 Series Linear Actuators are a powerful and reliable linear actuator for small to medium loads. We designed our linear actuator with pre-lubricated metal gears, pre-installed limit switches, and with an IP65 (suitable for outdoor use) water resistance rating. Included with your purchase are two linear actuators, an up/down switch, AC to DC power supply, linear actuator mounting brackets and connecting wires. There are two options for the up/down control switch: Momentary and Maintained. A momentary switch will only supply power to the actuator when the button is actively engaged by your finger. When you release the button, power is cut to the actuator and it stops. The maintained switch will continued to supply power to the actuator until it is manually turned off by the end user (A light bulb switch is a maintained switch, which means it will stay on until you turn it off).

Review: Be careful. - The description says these are 30 inches they are not. They are actually 35.5 inches tall not extended. They are a bit slow. Motor noise isn’t too bad. They both go up and down very smoothly one is a little delayed from the first but it’s not a big deal for what I’m using them for.

The description says these are 30 inches they are not. They are actually 35.5 inches tall not extended. They are a bit slow. Motor noise isn’t too bad. They both go up and down very smoothly one is a little delayed from the first but it’s not a big deal for what I’m using them for.
