This fully taped, 3-layer shell is built to keep you dry whether you're stomping out pillow lines at Baker or surfing the wind-buffed slopes of Hood. Utilizing Burton's most breathable membrane, Dryride Vaporshell, this jacket maintains a high level of breathability for when you're taking your splitter for a walk in the backcountry, or booting out of a backcountry gate. The stretch nylon fabric keeps you moving around, and Burton's own Crossflow Venting at the back and sleeves makes for quick cool-downs between hard-charging runs through the trees. Hooked up with Burton's Mid Fit, the Prospect offers a slightly tailored look that leaves room for layering and that adds an extra inch at the bottom hem for some extra coverage. A removable powder skirt locks out the snow, and removable hand thongs provide a seamless fit with your gloves. The fully adjustable hood blocks wind and snow, and the jacket-to-pant interface allows you to snap these into your Burton Pants for a fully connected snow-stopping kit.
