Every pair he'd tried on was too tight when he'd do the "squat test". I took a chance and ordered these, and he loves them!These shorts fit him like his "relaxed fit" jeans do. The length hits him around his knees, but when he bends over or squats down, the shorts stretch so they don't constrict him at the knee or at the hips. At first I was not all that fond of the lightning stripes on the sides, but my fashion consultant (my wife) says the stripes look cool.
