**Q: Just got mine, fitted one end on the tap, one on the hose, any reason when i turn on the tap, the pressure blows them apart? seems to be locked in.**
A: Please make sure the tap connector is tightly connect into the hose end connector.If you connect correctly, you will hear a "click"voice, then it is very difficult to sperate them apart.

**Q: Are these compatible with hozelock fittings?**
A: Yes, certainly they fitted mine, which were a mixture of Hozelock and clones.

Really only time will tell - but there were no leaks on first fitting, and none now, after a month. It's good that the kit covers all the options, though I didn't need the Y-splitter or male-male connector. Very glad to have the spare washers and O-rings included which will possibly extend the life of the connectors by several years when used as replacements. I used it to replace all the connectors on a 1.5m tap-to-hose-reel connection to an old Black and Decker reel, including the on-tap and on-reel connectors, re-using the length of hose. And a good price, especially compared to Hozelock originals, which seem to me to be of lower quality, or at any rate no higher.
