Set it at its tallest setting. On an incline where the ground slopes up on the left side of your bike? Set it at its lowest setting. On a recent trail trip that took me over terrain from concrete to sandy beaches, this kickstand performed flawlessly and I found myself using the height adjustment all the time. Once I had the right bolts, installation was a breeze. For the price, you can't beat the value. If you have a bike with a thicker chainstay like the Moro 05, just be prepared to make a quick trip to the hardware store for longer bolts. It did not work for my bike. **Q: I have a 27 or 29 inch tire would this work on my patrol bike?** A: Yes I have a 29" Cannondale and it works on it ,it's the only one I could find that did.I have had to adjust it twice and it doesn't hold the bike up every well but it's better that laying my new bike in the dirt.
