But it doesnt just combine them, it runs each source through its own mini amp. This allows for good volume control of the sources, along with preventing any sort of feedback or noise traveling back up the wrong way. It keeps each source completely separate. This separation keeps the noise incredibly low. On top of that, each little mini amp is incredibly clean. In most situations, I might as well be running my DACs straight to my proper headphone amp or speakers. If you have any trouble with static or noise, check the wires you used. Any sort of noise introduced from a bad wire or adapter will be very audible. With one cable, I could hear when I moved my mouse or dragged an element in a work space. This line mixer is also very quiet without hiss so it is worth its low cost definitely. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Power...what power? *by G***D on May 4, 2026* I purchased this mixer to be able to mix my bass guitar in one channel and my Korg Monologue in another. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the unit was well built and had sturdy construction. Well packed and included a 12v power supply. All the knobs felt nice and smooth. Placed the unit on my keyboard desk and proceeded to make my connections. Plugged the output into my Hartke bass amp, plugged my bass guitar into channel 1 and turned on my bass amp. I adjusted the volume knob for channel 1 and got a nice volume setting. I plugged my Monologue into channel 3. I realized I needed to power up my power strip so my Monologue could be turned on, so I did so. Immediate loud hum. I then realized that when I powered the strip for the Monologue it also powered the mixer. Not good, terrible loud hum. Then ---*what???*--- when I set the volume for the bass guitar the mixer unit had not been powered up. Hmmm, I then turned on the Monologue and disconnected the power plug from the mixer. No noise, no hum...the Monologue sounded fine, adjusted the volume for channel 3, checked volume on channel 1 and everything sounds great. So obviously the mixer unit doesn't need power to work. That's the reason I only gave 4 stars.
